On this day, you take a flight by Uzbekistan Airways from Astana to Tashkent (approx. 2 hours). Arrival afternoon at 17:45. Accommodation at hotel, rest.
On this day you take a morning train to Samarkand (Afrosyab Train, economy class, 2 hours ride). Upon arrival, you start a city tour of Samarkand, the medieval capital of Tamerlane. Overnight at a Samarkand hotel.
Early in the morning you start your journey to Bukhara (by train, 2 hours, Afrosyab Train) or car (3.5 hours). Upon arrival, you check in a local hotel and start your city tour of Bukhara.
