The Soviet-time building is now used to host concert and performances of Uzbek pop musicians and singers as well as invited guests from abroad.

The Palace is a frequent place to visit for tourists as it can be used as a starting point to reach more attractions, such as the Abul Kosim Madrassah with its Handicraft Center, Park named after Alisher Navoi, Zerafshan Restaurant etc.

It is a very pleasant part of Tashkent, not too crowded, clean and tranquille.
