Kok Tobe Tower and Entertainment Park, Almaty, Kazakhstan

A hill (1130m high) and the TV Tower of Almaty is visible from any point of the city. The place has been a popular attraction for locals and foreigners for long time.

Currently, you can reach the hill with the recreational area, Ferris Wheel and lots of restaurants and even a small Zoo by using the cable cars. It will take you from downtown (Dostyk Street, Hotel Kazakhstan, Arman Cinema Hall) right up to the hill.

The cars are well-protected from wind and bad weather, and the whole drive will take no longer than 10 minutes.

The Kok Tobe hill provides a breath-taking view of Almaty. It is adviseable to talk to your tour guide or the travel agency to choose the right time to visit this attraction to make photos.

The recreational area includes several attractions, such as the Beatles Bench, Ferris Wheel, and Fast Coaster on the slopes of the hill. The TV Tower is an interesting structure in itself, being the world's tallest TV tower if counted from sea level.
