The park and monument of 28 Panfilov's Men was designed to commemorate the feat of the so called Panfilov's division that fought heroically in the Moscow Battle of 1941 (Second World War). It was named after its commander, general Panfilov. The soldiers of the division were mainly from the Central Asian republics of the then Soviet Union - Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

One episode of the battle, the defense of the Dubosekovo village and crossroads, was depicted in the monument. A platoon (28 men) of the Soviet Army was able to repel a massive attack of the German tank division.
During the excursion, you will be able to see the obelisks bearing names of each of the 28 heros, Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame devoted to all fighters against the Nazis.
