Works have been selected and placed to the page exclusively on the basis of personal preferences of the site owners. We admire unique works of Mr. Alibekov and Mr. Useinov and wish to pay a sincere tribute to them.
Sergei A. Alibekov, born 16 May 1956 in Kasansay village of Namangan Province, Uzbekistan.
Graduated from Frunze (presently Bishkek) Arts School, Kyrgyz Republic. First exhibition held in 1979. Specializing in easel painting, graphic arts, sculpture, ceramics and decorative art.
Also known for his participation in film making at Uzbekfilm Studio, where he acts as movie director, script writer and artist. Several prizes at international festivals. Member of the Union of Artists and Union of Cinematographers.
A major part of his life and work is connected with Ferghana, though now he lives in Tashkent.
Vyacheslav Useinov, born in 1962 in Ferghana, Uzbekistan. Graduated from Bobruysk Arts School, majoring in stone carving. Lives and works in Tashkent. Participant of Republican, regional and international exhibitions. Since 1992, a member of the Creative Association of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
