In Samarkand there are two esteemed places, relative to burials of Islamic lawyers from the Arabian Abdi clan which is going back to Caliph Usman. These are mausoleums Abdi-Darun and Abdi-Birun. The first was situated inside city walls, and the second one outside them. Abdi-Birun is a mausoleum of 17th century built by known dignitary Nadir Divan-beghi on mazar Khodja Abdi which is considered one of the first preachers of Islam in Samarkand. Abdi Damn is a mausoleum of his descendant Hodja Abdal-Maz ad-Dyn who in 9th century was the Kazi of Samarkand. The basis of the mausoleum dates back to the 17th century. In the 15th century the mausoleum was supplied with the room of pray turned to the yard with a pool.
