Visa for Uzbekistan
|
Uzbekistan introduces new rules to issue visas for foreign tourists: since February 10, 2018 a new list of countries was announced with a visa-free entry. This step was taken within the broader program of tourism development in Uzbekistan and raising the country's attractiveness to foreign tourists, businessmen and cultural and art figures.
Among the innovations is the visa-free entry for several countries. Citizens of seven countries, namely Japan, Indonesia, Israel, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Turkey enjoy a visa-free regime allowing to stay on the territory of Uzbekistan for one month.
Also, a visa-free regime is preserved with the traditional partners of the country in the CIS - Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan (for up to 60 days), and Moldova.
In addition, 39 countries have been given a facilitated procedure for obtaining a visa, where a potential guest/tourist does not have to request for visa support from a local travel agency or an physical person. A list of such countries can be found on our page
