Aba Sayyoh travel company took part in the activities of Expo 2017

Aba Sayyoh sent its delegation to participate in the work of Expo 2017 and the Tourist Pavilion of Uzbekistan in Astana, Kazakhstan. Employees of the travel agency have developed a number of tours that are specifically linked to existing flights and tourism opportunities for the participants and guests of the Expo 2017. In the period from 10 to 15 June, a group of employees from the tourist company Aba Sayyoh visited the Expo 2017 exhibition in Astana, Kazakhstan. The main objectives of this trip were to become aware of the Expo 2017 and its activities, participate in the work of the Uzbekistan tourist pavilion at the exhibition, promote tour products intended for participants, organizers and guests of the Expo, as well as explore the tourist potential of the capital city Astana and establish operational contacts with local travel agencies and transport organizations. The Uzbek exposition (pavilion) shares an exhibition's section with pavilions of Turkmenistan and Georgia. The core of the Uzbek pavilion corresponds to the general theme of Expo 2017: Future Energy, presenting the latest developments of Uzbek industry, for example, a concept car of Uzbek car producers demonstrating what, in the opinion of Uzbek car designers, a future car will look like in 2030 or so. Also, the achievements of robotics and medical equipment industry are displayed here. If you go one floor above, you will find the tourist pavilion of Uzbekistan: it occupied a whole floor, and has no rival in volume and quality of exposition among all other countries and pavilions. This exhibition presents the main state companies engaged in tourism in Uzbekistan: Uzbek Airlines and Uzbek Railways, state concerns making wine products, in particular, the famous Uzbek wines, as well as dried fruits and sweets. The Uzbek tourism pavilion is richly decorated with works of Uzbek artisans such as glazed ceramics (vases, lyagan dishes and plates, traditional tea sets). Special round showcases are featuring famous Uzbek flat breads and dried fruits / sweets - this is exactly what any Uzbek family would offer when guests are coming. The most important convenience for visitors in the Uzbek pavilion is the presence of people from Uzbek Tourism (National Committee for the Development of Tourism) and representatives of local travel companies who provide immediate consultations to potential guests of Uzbekistan, tell about sights and offer ready tours to visit ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. An active work of the tourism sector players from Uzbekistan at the World Expo EXPO 2017 will undoubtedly increase awareness of the country's tourism potential among the huge audience of this exhibition and will increase the flow of tourists to our country. The high quality preparatory activities to the Expo 2017 by the Uzbek tourism sector were the result of the general efforts recently made by the President and Government of Uzbekistan in order to increase the efficiency of the tourism industry and improve the attractiveness of Uzbekistan as a competitive tourist destination in the world.
