Ashgabat is the capital city of Turkmenistan, a very beautiful cultural, political and economic center surrounded by the Karakum desert. The city has changed its look over the recent years from a semi-rural provincial capital to a modern-looking city with multi-storey buildings and business centers. Kunya Urgench

An ancient city, once a capital of the Khorezmian kingdom, now it is abandoned and only the monuments of the past may tell you that it was a powerful and magnificent city. Merv

Moving further into the depth of Turkmenistan and its deserts, you will find the remnants of another ancient city, called Merv.
